Principal Accountabilities
- Perform duties in accordance with the appropriate procedures and methods, by way of good planning and organisation of department workload
- Packing/dispatch of products in accordance with the appropriate procedures and methods, in a timely manner, to schedule
- Protection of products/materials against spoilage/deterioration
- Receipting of incoming deliveries
- Liaison with drivers, ensuring correct goods are handed over
- Maintenance/development of Quality System (ISO 9000/cGMP)
- Liaison with other departments
- Handling and disposing of waste products in line with company practices
- Replenishment of stock to appropriate departments (SIRF)
- Stock control of products required for special shipping i.e. Dry Ice
- Safe disposal of expired finished goods kits
- Good housekeeping
- Regular cycle counts
- Other ancillary duties
Qualifications
- Educated to GCSE level in Maths, English and Science
- Fork Truck License is an advantage
- A knowledge of Warehouse functions, material control, packing and despatch
- A good knowledge of Microsoft packages with good computer and keyboard skills
- Good organizational skills
- Able to work to deadlines
- Able to work independently and as part of a departmental or cross-functional team
- Demonstrate initiative and problem solving skills
- Flexible approach to work requirements
- 1+ year experience working in a similar environment
- Word, Excel, Outlook and Operational Databases
