Forward Logistics Technician I

Position Summary

The Forward Logistics Technician I is responsible for receiving, tracking, staging, and distributing IT equipment while maintaining accurate inventory records. This role supports the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets by ensuring timely hardware deployment, inventory accuracy, and exceptional customer service in line with Astreya and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming IT hardware shipments.
• Pick, pack, stage, and prepare equipment for deployment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and asset tracking.
• Perform inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Coordinate hardware deliveries, returns, and shipments.
• Support employee onboarding, offboarding, and hardware refresh projects.
• Update inventory and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Maintain warehouse organization and comply with safety and security procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet SLAs and operational goals.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in logistics, inventory, warehouse, or IT asset management.
• Basic knowledge of IT hardware and asset lifecycle management.
• Experience with inventory or ticketing systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a warehouse environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an IT managed services or enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, or ERP systems.
• ITIL Foundation or CompTIA A+ certification is a plus.
