Job Description: Logistics & Warehouse Manager
We are looking for a Logistics and Warehouse Manager with a hands-on and operational approach, capable of managing and actively participating in daily activities such as loading/unloading, internal handling, and warehouse organization.
The role will be integrated into a dynamic production environment, requiring a constant presence on the floor and strong coordination skills, supporting the team not only in planning but also in executing tasks.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and participate in goods loading and unloading operations.
- Manage internal handling of materials and finished products.
- Organize and optimize warehouse spaces, ensuring efficiency, order, and safety.
- Collaborate with production departments and the shipping office to ensure proper flow management.
- Monitor stock levels and support periodic inventory activities.
- Use management systems for recording and controlling movements.
- Coordinate warehouse staff, promoting a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
- Previous experience in similar roles, preferably in metalworking or manufacturing environments.
- English language proficiency required.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse dynamics and operational logistics.
- Ability to operate forklifts and handling equipment.
- Practical attitude, initiative, and on-the-ground leadership.
- Basic knowledge of IT and management tools.
Compensation range for this role is €35.100,00 - €43.900,00. Across our Italian locations, we typically offer a competitive and comprehensive benefits package aligned with applicable National Collective Labor Agreements (CCNL), either within the Wood & Furniture Industry or the Metalworking Industry, depending on the role and site. Compensation generally includes monthly salary payments, with potential additional fixed annual payments and performance-based bonuses.
