Role Description The Shop Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Midland Tx. This position is responsible for assisting with daily shop operations, including organizing and stocking inventory, preparing orders for customers, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The Shop Assistant supports loading and unloading equipment and supplies, checks items for accuracy and quality, and helps customers and drivers with pickups and deliveries. The role also includes basic recordkeeping, following safety procedures, and collaborating with team members to ensure efficient shop workflow.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform general shop duties such as assembling hose orders, stocking, organizing inventory, and handling equipment safely.
• Basic math, counting, and recordkeeping skills to check orders, track stock levels, and complete simple paperwork.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability, with the ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines consistently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to interact with coworkers, drivers, and customers in a professional manner.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move moderate to heavy items, and work in a shop/warehouse environment.
• Willingness to learn about oilfield equipment and supplies; prior experience in retail, warehouse, or industrial settings is beneficial.
• Must be 18 years or older. High school diploma or equivalent required; must have valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
