Shipper and Receiver

LOCATION: Waukesha, WI

REPORTS TO: Manufacturing, Supervisor

POSITION TYPE: Full-time, non-exempt

Our Opportunity

Under the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor the Shipper / Receiver is responsible for loading and unloading trucks, accepting deliveries, verifying shipment records, accepting shipments, and follows all shipping regulations.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver product to the proper inventory location, department or personnel.
• Understand safe handling and placement procedures of heavy loads.
• Change inventory locations when necessary.
• Resolve product and/or receiving concerns.
• Prepare product and documents for shipping to customers.
• Ensure customer order and product match, box, crate, shrink-wrap as necessary.
• Inspect materials and ensure bills of lading are correct.
• Direct or stage customer supplied equipment in appropriate areas.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience in receiving or shipping role.
• Experience with workplace tools such as Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
