Where You'll Make a Difference
- Coordinate end-to-end logistics operations, including third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse management, import customs clearance and local delivery.
- Manage logistics for temperature-sensitive food products, including cold-chain and deep-freeze products, to maintain required storage and transport conditions throughout the distribution process.
- Process logistics transactions in SAP and prepare accurate customs-clearance documentation for timely submission to brokers.
- Monitor import customs declarations, resolve operational issues and escalate risks promptly when required.
- Manage logistics key performance indicators (KPIs), service performance and cost verification with third-party logistics providers to support on-time delivery at the right cost.
- Monitor warehouse and transport processes for efficiency, product integrity, traceability and compliance with applicable food-safety and quality requirements.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Planning, Finance, Quality and external service providers to ensure smooth logistics execution.
- Lead logistics process and cost-optimization projects, and investigate customer complaints or temperature-excursion issues to implement effective corrective actions.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or a related field.
- Profound knowledge and experience in Logistics operation, over 5 years in logistics management and at least 5 years of import/export experience, local distribution, warehousing, etc
- Hands-on and good communication skills with proactive working attitude.
- Solid experience managing food cold-chain and deep-freeze logistics, including temperature-controlled storage and transportation requirements.
- Good communication and negotiation skill.
- High accountability and good team spirit.
- Logical and systemic thinking, project management skill.
- Experience in a multinational food, ingredients, health, biosciences or chemical environment.
- Knowledge of food-safety or quality-management requirements relevant to cold-chain and frozen products.
- A collaborative, detail-oriented and continuous-improvement mindset.
- Experience in chemical industry MNC and SAP is preferred.
