What You’ll Do
- Receive products from vendor deliveries.
- Unload shipments from delivery truck/container.
- Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list.
- Accurately inspect incoming materials and supplies (qty, PNs, verify that product /material is in good condition).
- Complete inspections of finished goods in accordance with QMS and all relevant specifications / DWGs.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; entering data into quality database.
- Assist the Quality Engineer with the reworking of parts as per specs when required.
- Maintain receiving records in accordance with Amran procedures.
- Maintain Incoming Inspections Records in accordance with Amran procedures.
- Report any receiving discrepancies to Purchasing and/or to the immediate supervisor.
- Release the receiving items to the appropriate departments.
- Initiate and maintain positive interaction between quality, production, office personnel, and the warehouse.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Follow all Amran procedures, practices, rules and safety requirements.
- Follow Amran guidelines and policies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by staff and supervision.
- High school education or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years’ experience in warehousing
- Experience with operating forklifts
- Ability to move around the facility
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with others.
- Good computer skills and ability to use various Microsoft products (e.g. Excel, Access, Word etc…)
