Work Schedule: 12 hour shifts 3.5 days per week

Position Summary

You’ll work closely with customer service, production and inventory control as you take on responsibility for maintaining an efficient flow of materials to maximize efficiency, eliminate hindrances (material shortages plus backlogs) and assume compliance with materials requirements. Work together with other team members to accomplish tasks safely in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions (and % of time dedicated to duties equal to 100%)

Essential Function

  • Reconcile discrepancies and maintain accurate inventory data in ERP system.
  • Works within ERP system to schedule firm work orders
  • Responsible for the accuracy of material storage locations physically and systematically.
  • Assist in maintaining proper labeling of material.
  • Assist in maintaining organization and stocking levels for all materials.
  • Receive incoming shipments and perform incoming inspection per company procedures.
  • Perform movements of material within ERP systems such as: RTV/RMA transactions
  • Perform MI/MR transactions per company procedures.
  • Communicate with internal/external departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Assist with pick/pull of materials, load/unload trucks as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required Safe and Efficient Facility Team Member
  • Address and report all equipment defects or maintenance needs to maintain safe and efficient use. Follow all procedures, policies and know the equipment before using it.
  • Speak up when observing something that may be unsafe or someone performing unsafe acts.
  • Efficiently perform work according to standard operating procedures.
  • Work together with other team members to accomplish tasks safely in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Analyzes data and reports to create efficient scheduling and material allocations/ substitutions
  • Communicate with the production team daily to prioritize changing critical shipments
  • Communicate with inventory control managers to resolve shortages or delays in production due to materials being overallocated
  • Monitor’s material requirements and availability coordinating with Inventory Control

Desired Education/Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

Education, years of experience, knowledge, certifications, etc. necessary for the role.

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Bilingual English-Spanish speaker
  • Strong organization skills
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a similar role.
    • ERP experience using receiving/inventory functions.
    • Ability to speak, read, write English. Spanish speaking a plus.
    • Basic math skills and understanding of receiving/inventory concepts.
    • Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
    • Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
