Pricing Specialist

Primtac Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Freight Pricing Specialist to join our client’s growing team.

If you have 2+ years experience within freight forwarding in Ireland, strong knowledge of Air & Sea Freight, and a commercial mindset, this could be an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your logistics career.

We’re looking for someone who is confident handling customer enquiries, preparing competitive freight quotations, following up on opportunities and building strong customer and partner relationships.

📍 Location: Swords

💼 Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

🕘 Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm

💰 Competitive salary + bonus + pension

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries for Air & Sea Freight services.
• Prepare accurate and competitive freight quotations.
• Follow up on quotations and convert opportunities into confirmed bookings.
• Build strong relationships with customers and partners.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable freight solutions.
• Respond quickly and professionally to enquiries.
• Identify new business opportunities through leads, referrals and networking.
• Keep up to date with freight products and industry developments.
• Update customer information on Salesforce.
• Manage credit applications and new customer setup on CargoWise.

Requirements

• 1–2 years' experience in Freight Forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of Air & Sea Freight.
• Commercial/sales mindset with the ability to develop new business.
• Strong organisation and time management.
• Good Microsoft Office skills.
• Multi-modal freight experience is desirable.
