About The Job
- Supervise the consolidation of multiple LCL shipments into a full container for export or deconsolidation of inbound shipments.
- Plan and optimize container loads to maximize space utilization and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with CFS, warehouses, and carriers for smooth cargo flow.
- Oversee the movement of LCL cargo through gateway hubs.
- Monitor transshipment activities and ensure timely connections.
- Work closely with other branches, network offices, and carriers to manage global LCL routes.
- Ensure correct and timely processing of shipping documentation (e.g., Bill of Lading, commercial documents, customs clearance).
- Verify compliance with international shipping regulations, including customs, security, and environmental standards.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding LCL shipments.
- Provide updates on cargo status, delays, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with sales, customer service, and operations teams to align with customer expectations.
- Negotiate rates and service agreements with ocean carriers, trucking companies, and warehousing partners.
- Monitor vendor performance and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Analyze shipping volumes and trends to improve consolidation strategies.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality.
- Implement process improvements and automation where applicable.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a similar discipline
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in Sea Freight Operations (FCL/ LCL)
- Experience with Cargo Wise will be advantage.
- Familiarity with INCOTERMS, international trade laws, and customs regulations
- Good Acumen in handing Key Accounts.
- Knowledge of DP world and Dubai customs regulations
- Professional: Proficient in all Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word and Power Point)
- Communicate professionally in English at a business level (verbal and written)
