Manager - Logistics

We are seeking an experienced Manager - Logistics to lead and optimise end-to-end logistics operations within a large-scale industrial or manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing transportation, warehousing, inventory movement, distribution, and third-party logistics providers while ensuring operational efficiency, cost optimisation, and high service levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations across multiple transportation modes.
• Oversee warehousing, inventory control, and material handling activities.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage relationships with logistics service providers, carriers, and transportation partners.
• Monitor logistics performance through KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop logistics teams to achieve operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-7+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, metals, or heavy industry sectors.
• Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution operations.
• Proven experience managing third-party logistics providers and carrier networks.
• Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on cost optimization.
• Professional certifications such as CSCP, CLTD, or equivalent are an advantage.
