Keep the world moving. One shipment at a time.
Behind every successful delivery is someone making sure the right shipment leaves the right place, at the right time, with the right documents and that’s where you come in.
At Boutiqaat, we’re looking for a detail-driven, proactive Freight Specialist to join our team and take ownership of the day-to-day coordination and monitoring of international shipments from origin to destination. - Track shipments, identify delays, and follow up until issues are resolved.
- Ensure suppliers and logistics partners are ready for timely collection and dispatch.
- Prepare, collect, and verify shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and bills of lading.
- Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
- Resolve missing or incorrect information before it causes delays.
- Keep freight records organized and up to date.
- Review freight quotations, shipment details, and service terms.
- Check freight invoices and identify cost discrepancies.
- Coordinate with freight partners and internal teams to resolve billing issues.
- Maintain accurate freight cost records.
- Act quickly on delays, discrepancies, damaged shipments, and operational issues.
- Keep stakeholders informed with clear and timely updates.
- Build strong relationships with freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Work closely with Purchasing and Operations to keep shipments on track.
- Maintain accurate shipment trackers and freight reports.
- Monitor delivery timelines, costs, and operational issues.
- Spot recurring problems and highlight opportunities for improvement.
- Provide management with clear visibility of freight performance.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in freight operations, logistics, or supply chain.
- Experience in e-commerce, retail, or FMCG logistics/freight is a plus.
- Experience managing international shipments and freight forwarders is preferred.
- Experience with ERP, logistics, or freight management systems.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
- Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Strong planning, organization, and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when handling shipping documents and freight invoices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive mindset and the ability to take ownership from “booking confirmed” to “shipment delivered.”
