Our client is a global player in the electrification and automation sector servicing industries and individual households alike. The service portfolio rendered by the Company includes intelligent devices, AI-operated solutions, along with advisory services. The Hungarian operation has been around for over 30 years, supporting companies with energy efficiency, automation, and technical advisory solutions.

Today, the company employs over 1.000 people across multiple sites, including manufacturing plants, logistics (including regional), procurement and customer service centers distributing products to more than a dozen countries.


Responsibilities & Tasks


The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end‑to‑end supply chain, including planning, logistics, inventory, and supplier management. The role ensures material availability, cost efficiency, operational excellence, and alignment with business objectives.


  • Vet and identify major process bottlenecks with key focus on incoming raw materials handling with 60K-80K SKUs (!) and finished products distribution
  • Handle unique, Engineering-To-Order manufacturing process with constant client modification request during production process warranting additional non-stock parts orders.
  • Conduct complete due diligence on the team make-up assessing the skill sets and competency of the current Supervisors and Team Leaders and make changes where and if necessary to increase efficiency
  • Proven track record of managing value stream-based supply chain teams of large headcount with equal parts of strategic and operational tasks
  • Identify process improvement steps and implement supply chain protocols to assure timely raw materials flow, and the response time to the centralized production scheduling demands to avoid materials flow disruption
  • Reorganize and reallocate tasks and workloads of the 200 plus people Logistics Department, assigned to the following 4 areas: 1: operative purchasing, warehouse, packaging and the so-called ACC (auxiliary parts packaging) area
  • Ensure that the project-based, and swiftly changing order volumes in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment are supported with outmost efficiency, in a timely manner
  • Improve internal communication with stakeholders and conduct his/her duties with absolute transparency
  • The position answers to the Regional Supply Chain Manager and the Plant Director both based at the Hungarian site


Qualifications & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Supply Chain Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline required.
  • 5+ years of relevant, end-to-end supply chain management experience gained in a manufacturing environment with high-mix, low volume product range involving 50K plus SKUs in a fast growing 600 plus people organization is a must!
  • Experience with lean manufacturing methodologies.
  • Advanced ERP experience: SAP strongly preferred.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to develop and support team members.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with focus on collaboration and engagement.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving measurable results.
  • Strong problem‑solving, issue‑resolution, and change‑management capabilities.
  • Motivated team builder, committed to continuous improvement.
  • Native Hungarian and proficiency in English
