Our client is a dynamically growing international food manufacturing company with a strong global presence and an expanding footprint in Europe. In this role, you will be responsible for procuring raw materials and packaging materials, as well as coordinating inventory levels to support seamless collaboration between production and support functions and contribute to the achievement of the company’s business objectives

Key Responsibilities :


  • Procure raw materials, including dry, chilled and frozen ingredients, as well as packaging materials, while ensuring optimal inventory levels.
  • Cooperate closely with suppliers, freight forwarders and production planning to ensure the timely delivery of materials.
  • Maintain regular contact with various stakeholders across the supply chain, including the Food Quality and Safety team and, when required, the European headquarters.
  • Prepare and coordinate outbound shipments, complete the necessary shipping documentation and manage EKÁER declarations to ensure the timely delivery of finished products.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks, investigate and reconcile discrepancies, and prepare related reports.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier and logistics service provider performance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, with a strong focus on maximising service levels.
  • Monitor market trends related to the assigned product portfolio.


Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in procurement within the food industry or FMCG sector.
  • Confident user-level knowledge of enterprise resource planning, procurement, inventory management and warehouse management systems, as well as Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
  • At least intermediate-level English proficiency, both written and spoken.
  • Native Hungarian language skills
