Your role
As a Project Specialist, you will play a key role in the daily execution of our mineral sand projects across Europe.
This is a hands-on operational role where experience from freight forwarding, transport planning, logistics operations or supply chain coordination will be highly relevant.
You will coordinate transport and project activities across multiple countries, stakeholders and functions while supporting commercial and financial follow-up to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
You will work closely with Project Managers, Sales, Finance, suppliers, transport providers and customers. In addition, you will supervise our Supply Chain Coordinator in Germany and help align operational planning and execution across borders.

- Plan, book and coordinate international transport and logistics activities.
- Monitor transport execution and proactively resolve operational challenges.
- Act as the primary operational contact for assigned projects.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, contractual obligations and relevant regulations.
- Report and follow up on claims, incidents and non-conformities.
- Maintain volume forecasts, loading plans and other operational planning activities.
- Support the S&OP process, including preparation, documentation and follow-up.
- Identify operational risks, manage disruptions and escalate when necessary.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives together with colleagues across Operations, Sales, Finance and Project Management.
- Obtain and negotiate transport rates within delegated authority.
- Maintain pricing information and support profitability analysis, cost control and operational reporting.
- Support monthly financial closing activities.
- Monitor project costs, margins and financial performance.
- Review customer payment status and credit limits when relevant.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and transport providers.
- Deliver a high level of customer service and support successful project execution across all stakeholders.
- Loads and deliveries are executed safely, efficiently and on time.
- Forecasts, loading plans and operational data are accurate and up to date.
- Supplier costs, customer invoicing and financial reporting are managed accurately.
- Shipment documentation is complete and compliant.
- Customers and colleagues experience a high level of service and professionalism.
- S&OP activities are executed and documented effectively.
- Have experience from freight forwarding, transport planning, logistics operations or supply chain coordination.
- Understand international transport flows and daily coordination between customers, suppliers and transport providers.
- Have experience with transport purchasing, freight rates and cost follow-up.
- Are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Combine commercial awareness with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
- Communicate clearly and professionally across cultures and functions.
- Thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities can change quickly.
- Are comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with others.
