A Day in the Life
- Arrive to the warehouse on time and ready to work
- Collect forklift, scanner and iPad
- Review the incoming truck schedule for the day and receive assignments
- Use the iPad to create replenishing tasks
- Replenish/Stock inventory by hand and with the forklift
- Stock product that has been delivered to the warehouse that day
- Provide direction and support to teammates
- Assist Warehouse Supervisor as needed
- Organize product that will be returned to our suppliers
- Begin receiving trucks at the warehouse dock
- Collect and print paperwork for the delivery trucks
- Unload trucks with a forklift
- Receive product into inventory using the iPad
- Notify the team when product has been properly received and is ready to stock
- Review incoming truck schedule for the next day and notify 2nd Shift what needs to be prepared
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
- 18 years of age or older
- Leadership skills
- Basic computer skills to use an iPad and warehouse management software
- Flexibility to work with varying shift end times
- Attention to detail and a sense of urgency to meet deadlines with accuracy
- Ability to lift and carry an average of 30 pounds, repetitively, and move up to 165 pounds
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours per day
