In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Receiving deliveries – Checking incoming parts and materials from suppliers to make sure they are correct and not damaged
- Putting stock away – Organising and storing parts in the correct locations so they are easy to find later
- Supplying parts to the workshop – Picking and issuing parts to technicians so they can complete their jobs
- Stock control – Keeping track of what parts are in stock, updating inventory in the computer system and reporting when items are running low
- Packing and dispatching orders – Preparing parts for delivery or shipment to customers or other branches
- Keeping the store tidy and safe – Making sure the warehouse or parts area is clean, organised, and safe to work in
- Helping customers or staff with parts enquiries via F2F, phone and email – Finding the correct part or checking availability
- A current Forklift license
- Local Valid Driver’s License required
- Competent computer skills and data entry accuracy
- Experience in warehousing, stock control, and inventory systems
- Strong understanding of heavy diesel engine components and truck parts
- High Reach Truck experience is highly advantageous but not required
- Competitive hourly rate paid as a permanent salary
