Warehouse Manager

Since 2004 FRAGRANCE SCIENCE has been developing and manufacturing fragrances for their application in products of laundry care, home care, personal care and for fine perfumery. About 90% of our products we export all around the world. We are currently searching for a highly motivated and experienced professional for the role of Warehouse Manager for our new factory at Castellolí (Igualada, Barcelona).

Functions

Warehouse team management (divisions of stock and shipping operations), problem-solving. Tasks distribuition and daily follow up. Conduct or supervise training of new members of the Warehouse team. KPIs control and reporting to the management.

Ensure smooth and efficient communication between the warehouse divisions and with other departments involved or dependent on warehouse operations (Production, Purchasing, Quality Control, Supply Chain, Logistics).

Regular inventory and constant control of the correct situation and amounts of raw materials and all other indirect materials stocked in the Warehouse to respond properly to the production needs upon demand. Reporting on discrepancies and stockouts. Timely and agile delivery of necessary materials to the Production Plant upon request to ensure smooth compunding and filling/ packaging processes.

Create accurate reports and conduct regular analysis on all inbound and outbound operations within the Warehouse in coordination with the Production Supervisor/ Supply Chain Coordinator. Reviewing tracking systems (stock reports, tracking logs, etc.), digitalization and software developement projects related to warehouse in coordination with the IT team.

Waste management, recycling services and technical equipment maintainance within the Warehouse.

Continuous improvement of warehouse processes and organisation, leading related projects. Resolving departmental issues in coordination with the management. Keep updated and follow the safety regulations established by the management.

Requirments

University Degree in ADE, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or any other related field

At least 5 years of experience in warehouse operations and team management

Excellent leadership, organisation and analytical skills

Proactive attitude, responsibility, and adaptability to priority changes

Experience using PDAs, APQ (storage of chemical products)
