Job Summary:

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for managing daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, and maintaining efficient receiving, storage, and dispatch processes. The role focuses on inventory accuracy, timely order fulfillment, and compliance with company policies and safety standards while supporting operational excellence.

Accountability & Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents.
  • Store materials and products in designated warehouse locations following company standards.
  • Prepare, pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts and physical stock audits.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report stock discrepancies, shortages, or damaged items.
  • Update inventory transactions in the ERP/WMS system.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, Sales, and Finance teams to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
  • Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of products.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in loading and unloading deliveries while ensuring products are handled safely.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support periodic inventory audits and prepare required reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics.
  • Experience using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
  • Good knowledge of inventory management principles and warehouse best practices.
  • Good at Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the IT, technology, electronics, or distribution industry.
  • Knowledge of barcode scanners and inventory tracking systems.
  • Forklift certification (if applicable).
