Today, we are recruiting for a Logistic and Material Coordinator to join our Rolling Stock team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of Siemens Mobility’s largest infrastructure projects.
What are my responsibilities?
- Receive, store, issue, and electronically record materials, spare parts, tools, and equipment in accordance with company procedures.
- Perform electronic booking of goods in and out using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Verify incoming deliveries by checking materials against delivery documentation and reporting any discrepancies.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by properly identifying, labeling, and storing all materials.
- Ensure spare parts are stored and maintained in accordance with supplier requirements and company standards.
- Prepare spare part kits, package materials, and dispatch items for repair when required.
- Replace damaged tools and support the movement of goods within the warehouse and storage facilities.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and scissor lifts, where authorized.
- Vocational training or a higher qualification, with a minimum of 3 years of warehouse or storekeeping experience.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics.
- Basic computer skills with knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Good understanding of warehouse processes, tools, equipment, and spare parts management.
- Ability to accurately manage inventory records and maintain organized storage areas.
- Forklift and/or scissor lift operating license is considered an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Advanced English and Arabic language skills are preferred.
