Freight Forwarder

Employer: QT Logistics Group Kft.

Employment type: Full-time, permanent contract with a flexible/irregular work schedule and a three-month probationary period

Location: Vecsés, office-based

Start date: Within 30 days, or earlier if possible

Key responsibilities:

• Operational management of the entire logistics process
• Coordinating and monitoring domestic and international road freight operations, including FTL and LTL shipments
• Communicating in both English and Hungarian with carriers, freight forwarders and other partners, including warehouses and distribution centres
• Organising and managing shipments from start to finish
• Optimising transport routes and identifying cost-saving opportunities
• Issuing transport orders to subcontractors

Requirement:

• At least a secondary school qualification
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to work accurately and independently
• Willingness to work shifts and weekends
• Previous experience in a similar position
• Professional working proficiency in both English and Hungarian

Preferred qualifications:

• An established network of contacts among carriers and freight forwarding companies is an advantage, but not essential
• Higher education degree
• Knowledge of additional languages
• Previous experience as a freight forwarder in international road transport
