Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture: Design end-to-end global logistics workflows that leverage our SaaS platform to solve complex cross-border pain points (e.g., automated duties/taxes, landed cost calculations, and carrier integrations).
Product Evangelism: Lead technical product demonstrations that move beyond features to focus on business outcomes, ROI, and operational efficiency.
Discovery & Scoping: Conduct deep-dive discovery sessions to understand prospective clients' current "as-is" shipping processes and define the "to-be" state using our TMS.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the "voice of the customer" for the Product team, providing feedback on market trends and specific localized requirements (e.g., Brexit-related compliance or IOSS/OSS changes).
RFP/RFI Ownership: Lead the technical response for Requests for Proposals, ensuring all security, integration (API/EDI), and functional requirements are met.
Implementation Hand-off: Ensure a seamless transition from the pre-sales phase to the Professional Services/Implementation teams by providing detailed solution blueprints.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in Pre-Sales, Solutions Consulting, or Sales Engineering within the SaaS Supply Chain or Logistics sector.
Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of Cross-Border logistics, including Incoterms, HS Codes, Customs Brokerage, and Freight Forwarding.
Technical Proficiency: Strong grasp of API integrations, EDI standards, and how TMS platforms interact with ERPs (like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
Communication: Proven ability to explain complex technical or regulatory concepts to non-technical audiences.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or Masters Degree in relevant field.
