Job Description
The Processing Operator is responsible for executing the end-to-end processing workflow for second hand electronic devices within ATI, GTI, and others. This includes receiving units, performing diagnostic checks (QC), cleaning and grading devices, and completing system conversions to prepare finished goods for downstream departments. The operator ensures accurate data entry, quality compliance, and adherence to productivity standards while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Performs device receiving tasks, including verifying quantities, validating item attributes, and completing system entries accurately in NetSuite.
- Executes diagnostic (QC) procedures using PDD or other approved tools to test functionality, identify failures, and determine device condition.
- Completes detailed cleaning and cosmetic grading of devices following established grading criteria and quality guidelines.
- Conducts system conversions to assign final grades, update required data fields and prepare devices for movement to Finished Goods.
- Maintains high accuracy in all system transactions, ensuring correct device status, location updates, and audit ready documentation.
- Meets daily productivity and quality targets while following standard operating procedures and maintaining consistent workflow execution.
- Collaborates with Team Leader and cross functional teams to resolve issues related to device discrepancies, testing results, or grading variances.
- Good attention to detail is essential, within a fast-moving warehouse environment
- Honesty, high personal integrity and care in handling high-value Products is essential
- Dexterity, visual and administrative skills are paramount requirements
- General PC competence and accuracy in data entry are mandatory requirements
- Previous Warehouse operational experience would be advantageous
- Quickness to learn will be helpful, with a willingness to learn via on-the job training
- Walk or stand for long periods of hours.
