Role Mission
The mission of this role is to support production&warehouse managers in their daily operations and improve efficiency, standardize, and digitize highly manual processes in Biomat production area, contributing to the operational transformation of the department. The focus will be on understanding, analysing, and optimizing operations across three key areas: Plasma Storage Freezers, Plasma Classification Room and Biological Sample Archive.
What Your Responsibilities Will Be
- Support managers in reviewing and enhancing procedures, workflows, and documentation, ensuring full compliance with GMP, legal, environmental, and traceability requirements, while contributing to staff training and process adherence.
- Extract and analyze data from SAP, WMS, and other systems to build KPIs, dashboards, and performance insights, enabling data-driven decision-making across operations.
- Analyze and redesign workflows, identifying manual or inefficient processes and transforming them into automated and digital solutions, including the implementation of RPA tools.
- Lead automation and digitalization projects across operational areas, working cross-functionally with IT, Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations to ensure successful deployment.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies, performing root cause analysis, and applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance productivity and standardization.
- Oversee the Biological Sample Archive, ensuring compliant storage, traceability, and shipment of samples, while managing interactions with software vendors and system improvements.
- University degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or similar.
- Master’s degree in manufacturing project management, Continuous Improvement, or similar is highly desirable.
- Minimum English level of B2.2. (Ability to communicate in technical environments (Essential).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial operational environments. Highly valued in warehousing and/or production.
- Experience in process improvement, digitalization, or automation projects (RPA).
- You have experience and/or knowledge of SAP and WMS.
- Practical experience using Lean Six Sigma methodologies, etc. (DMAIC, Agile, Design Thinking, TPM, Shingo).
- Experience managing data analysis and statistics (Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
- You are a person with skills to influence others during change processes, as well as problem-solving, communication skills, numerical skills, and a results-orientation. Highly valued
