A Day in the Life

As a leader within our Operations team in Auckland, you will be instrumental in managing our distribution performance to ensure our products reach our clients with agility and efficiency. Reporting to the Phsyical Distribution Centre Manager, you will lead and develop a team to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement during your shift.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Lead & Develop: You will coach your team leaders, setting clear objectives and fostering a high-performing, motivated workforce to achieve daily targets.
  • Drive Performance: You'll manage service levels from Freight Forwarders, analyse operational KPIs, and present results to key stakeholders, proactively identifying and challenging inefficiencies.
  • Optimize Processes: You will collaborate with Customer Service, Inventory, and other internal teams to continuously improve replenishment, returns, and picking accuracy.
  • Manage Resources: You'll oversee the stock ordering of essential packaging materials and support the execution of key logistics projects.

You're a Great Match If You Have

  • In-depth knowledge of warehousing and distribution processes, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team development and performance management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organisational abilities to manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
