Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics and Fulfilment Specialist to join our Logistics and Fulfilment team in Sheffield.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in logistics, warehousing, order fulfilment, shipping, or supply chain operations who enjoys working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
You will play an important role in ensuring customer and internal shipments are processed accurately, dispatched on time, and supported by the correct documentation. The role will involve working with stock, systems, carriers, documentation, and internal teams to support the smooth movement of goods across domestic and international locations.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing
- Processing customer, internal, project, and return shipments.
- Preparing & racking IT equipment ready for remote configuration.
- Applying configurations to IT equipment using established automated systems and documented processes.
- Picking, packing, labelling, and preparing goods for dispatch. Regularly lifting boxes up to 25kg.
- Booking domestic and international shipments with approved carriers.
- Preparing shipping documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and waybills.
- Updating shipment, inventory, and order information in business systems.
- Requesting & reviewing quotes for goods and services from various suppliers, entering Purchase Requisitions.
- Receiving and booking in inbound goods.
- Supporting stock checks, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy.
- Tracking shipments and helping resolve delivery issues or carrier exceptions.
- Working with internal teams to answer shipment and order queries.
- Supporting process improvements across logistics and fulfilment activities.
You Should Have
- 1+ years’ experience working in a supply chain position.
- Strong attention to detail, understands the importance of serial number control.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Confidence using business systems and Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
- A proactive approach to solving problems and improving processes.
- Experience with international shipping, customs documentation, ERP/WMS systems, Salesforce, Rootstock, FedEx, DHL, UPS, or similar platforms would be useful, but full process training will be provided.
- Experience preparing commercial invoices or export documents.
- Knowledge of Incoterms, HS codes, country of origin, or customs requirements.
- Experience with inventory counts, returns processing, or stock reconciliation.
- Familiarity with regulated goods or compliance-controlled shipment processes.
- Experience handling telecommunications IT equipment & terminology, OSI model.
- Experience with Salesforce, Rootstock, Remedy, FedEx, DHL, UPS, or similar carrier platforms.
- Takes pride in accuracy and getting things right first time.
- Enjoys working in a hands-on operational role.
- Can balance warehouse activity, system updates, and communication with internal teams.
- Is reliable, organised, and comfortable following processes.
- Looks for ways to improve how work is done.
- Works well in a small team and is willing to support wider business priorities.
