We are looking for a National Sea Logistics LCL Development Manager to drive the growth and development of our Less than Container Load (LCL) product across the UK. As a key member of the Sea Logistics LCL Product Team, you will act as the subject matter expert for LCL solutions, collaborating closely with Sales, Operations, Pricing, and international partners to deliver business growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and strengthen Kuehne+Nagel's market position.
How you create impact
- Drive the growth of the UK LCL product by developing new business opportunities, expanding trade lanes, and optimizing LCL volumes in collaboration with operational teams.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high service standards, KPI adherence, and regular business reviews with key stakeholders.
- Contribute to the conversion of new business wins and support national and global RFQ opportunities, working closely with Sales, Customer Care, and operational teams. Contribute to and lead tailored customer value propositions.
- Manage and maintain LCL rates within Kuehne+Nagel systems while collaborating with Pricing teams to improve quote conversion and market competitiveness.
- Promote digital solutions including myKN, myKN Quote & Book, SeaQuote, and SeaExplorer, increasing adoption, booking volumes, and overall customer engagement.
- Act as the UK LCL product expert by providing market insights, supporting the sales community to convert new opportunities, identifying growth opportunities, and contributing to global LCL development initiatives.
- Proven experience within Sea Logistics, with a strong focus on LCL products and services; a minimum of one years' LCL experience is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of sea logisitcs, LCL solutions, pricing strategies, and customer supply chain requirements.
- Excellent relationship-building, networking, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage customers and internal teams at all levels.
- Strong commercial acumen, problem-solving capability, and the ability to develop value-based customer solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required.
