GS Sea Logistics Team Leader- Hosted

Job Purpose

The Team Leader is responsible for leading and motivating the team to deliver high performance and consistently achieve key targets. This role involves driving engagement, monitoring KPIs, and proactively addressing challenges to ensure objectives are met. Working closely with management, the Team Leader supports continuous improvement initiatives, develops team capabilities, and ensures efficient, well-governed processes. Through effective leadership, the role fosters a positive, high-performing work environment that promotes operational excellence and sustained success.

Main Responsibilities

• Performs Daily Reviews (DMA) and updates results on KN Wiki
• Handles escalations, testing and other technical issues
• Performs skills assessments using the Skills Matrix and submits to manager for follow up
• Performs daily quality checks to ensure high level of work quality
• Trains new hires and ad-hoc topics where needed
• Aids managers in handling task migrations
• Understands any new tasks that are migrated and ensures instructions are understood by the operational team
• Assists manager in evaluating Continuous Improvement ideas raised by the team members
• Initiates Problem Solving Activity to address issues and improve the process
• Reviews individual team performance and reports any issues/feedback to the manager.
• Guides team members to their career path
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or related courses
• Minimum of 2-5 years direct leadership experience
• At least 2 years work experience in Sea Logistics
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Approachability and availability
• Ability to delegate efficiently
• Well-organized, able to prioritize and manage time well.
• Able to multi-task.
• Analytical and process-driven mind-set.
• Good communication skills.
