Logistics Specialist

About this Position You will be part of the logistics department, playing a key role in supporting Henkel’s consumer core operations

What you´ll do Core job responsibility

• Develop and implement optimized inbound/outbound/import/export/return logistics process and efficiency
• Hands on management of logistics activities (mainly export operation)
• Transaction monitoring of SAP movement and error handling
• Resolve issues related to transportation delays, damages, or customer service inquiries.
• Cost management of warehouse activities (Purchase order creation and billing)
• Supplier management of third-party logistics and freight forwarder
• Analyzed logistics cost and improved operational process
• Monitor KPIs such as shipping accuracy, lead times, and cost-to-serve, reporting regularly
• Work with cross functional teams
• Maintain manual and procedure
• Leading/participated ad hoc project

What makes you a good fit

• More than 5 years’ experience of logistics, import and export
• Basic understanding of trade conditions and manage import / export activities
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to manage vendor relationships.
• Ability to analyze logistics data to identify trends and process improvements.
• Business process analysis and process improvement
• Proficient with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power point, teams and share point)
• Written and oral communication of English and Japanese
• Basic understanding of SAP

Nice to have

• License of Registered Customs Specialist or Logistics Management (Grade 2)
