Primary purpose of the job

  • Provide marine technical expertise to ensure the safe and efficient discharging of LNG to Japanese Buyers
  • Attend and monitor LNG discharging in Japanese Terminals on behalf of QatarEnergy as a Charterer of LNG vessels and a Seller of LNG and monitor and take care of any technical issue occurred in Japanese port


Qualification

  • First Grade Marine Officer Certificate of Competency; Navigation or Engineering
  • Sailed as Master, Chief Officer, Chief Engineer or First Officer on LNG vessels


Experience

  • 8+ years’ marine related experience within the energy shipping industry
  • A comprehensive knowledge of Japanese Utilities, Trading Houses and governmental bodies
  • Knowledge in LNG operations
  • Fluent Japanese and English in writing, reading and speaking
