An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Ocean Export Agent to join one of the world's leading freight forwarding and logistics providers. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end ocean export shipments from booking through to final destination.
• Liaise with customers, carriers, overseas offices, trucking companies, and customs brokers.
• Prepare and process export documentation, including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, and shipping instructions.
• Arrange bookings with ocean carriers and monitor shipment milestones.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations and company operating procedures.
• Provide proactive shipment updates and resolve any operational issues promptly.
• Manage customer communication to ensure exceptional service levels.
• Accurately enter shipment information into the transport management system.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the export operations team.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years' experience in ocean export freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping documentation and export procedures.
• Experience working with major ocean carriers.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple shipments.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and freight forwarding systems.
• Experience with CargoWise is advantageous but not essential.
