We are looking for a motivated self-starter to help us drive our purchasing and logistics operations.


Job Duties:


  • Plan and manage purchases, stock availability, and order fulfilment
  • Manage vendor relationships, freight forwarder contracts, pricing, and issue resolution
  • Manage logistics services, including 3PL activities, to meet customer expectations
  • Negotiate terms of trade with suppliers and purchase high quality product and services
  • Prepare export and import documentation and handle customs clearance
  • Coordinate shipments to ensure on-time and on-cost delivery
  • Evaluate critical components and ensure adequate supply
  • Interface with Product Engineering to ensure accurate and timely implementation of new parts, revisions, or other tasks required to source items
  • Record and report information using tools such as ERP and Excel

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical, detail oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge and understanding of road, air, sea freight, parcel and freight forwarding
  • Advanced understanding of regulatory customs and trade compliance requirements
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and MRP/ERP
  • Fluent English both in writing and speaking
  • Ability to read engineering drawings is an advantage


The ideal candidate must have:


  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in purchasing and planning electronic components and assemblies
  • 2+ years of work experience in logistics, import/export compliance and customs clearance
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of warehouse processes, shipping and receiving, 3PL
