Customs & Posting Supervisor
to join our team in Pernik
As the Customs & Posting Supervisor, you will be responsible to support all customs, documentation, and gate‑related processes within an AEO‑certified and CBAM‑regulated environment, reporting directly to Customs Compliance & Inbound/Outbound Operations Manager.
What You Will Need To Do
- Support preparation and validation of import, export, transit, and bonded customs documentation in compliance with EU, AEO standards, and CBAM requirements;
- Assist in maintaining accurate customs records, monitoring regimes, and ensuring audit-ready documentation and reporting;
- Coordinate daily with customs brokers, forwarders, carriers, port authorities, and customs officials to ensure smooth operations;
- Support gate operations by verifying transport documents and controlling inbound/outbound cargo and vehicle movements;
- Participate in cargo weighing and reconciliation processes, identifying and reporting discrepancies in weights, documents, or cargo data;
- Collaborate cross-functionally with warehouse, logistics, finance, and production teams, supporting customs-related financial and inventory data;
- Contribute to internal reporting, audits (AEO, customs, tax), and compliance KPI tracking and documentation;
- Follow SOPs and drive continuous improvement through process optimization, digitalization support, and participation in trainings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field;
- 1–3 years of experience in customs documentation, logistics administration, or similar roles with supervisory responsibilities;
- Previous exposure to customs brokers, freight forwarders, and/or gate operations will be considered an advantage;
- Basic knowledge of the EU Customs Code (UCC), customs regulations, and import/export procedures;
- Familiarity with ERP/SAP systems and customs platforms considered an asset;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Bulgarian and English;
