Ocean Import CS Executive (1Y Contract)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Ocean Import CS professional to support global accounts and local customers within our sea freight operations.

This role is responsible for managing end-to-end import shipment coordination, including documentation, customer communication, and delivery arrangement. You will work closely with overseas offices, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely cargo handling.

Key Accountabilities:

Customer service & Shipment Coordination

• Communicate with overseas offices and customers for booking and shipment arrangements
• Arrange shipments based on the earliest available vessel schedule
• Provide regular updates on vessel schedules and cargo status
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve operational issues

Import Documentation

• Send shipping documents and arrival notices to consignees
• Follow up on OB/L, HB/L, and other required documents from overseas agents
• Ensure accurate documentation is shared with operations team for job file creation
• Issue Debit Notes (D/N) and Credit Notes (C/N)

Delivery & Coordination

• Arrange import customs clearance and inland trucking for shipments
• Support POD requests and delivery-related coordination

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree or above
• About 5 years of experience in forwarding company or NVOCC, with a focus on managing sea freight operations
• Knowledge in SOP of Ocean Import freight
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English (especially email communication)
• Proficient in MS Office

Preferred:

• Experience handling global key accounts
• Strong problem-solving skills in shipment operations
• Experience with freight forwarding systems or ERP
