Job Role

This sales position is designed to drive the expansion of the ocean freight business, with a focus on major trade lanes. You will act as the primary commercial bridge for stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and high-quality service delivery for clients with high-volume and specialized needs.

Beyond daily business development, you are responsible for the technical design of ocean freight solutions. This includes managing the complexities of international shipping through detailed pricing simulations and overseeing the end-to-end tender lifecycle to secure long-term partnerships with global accounts. Products and services include air freight, ocean freight specializations, digital visibility and tracking tools, specialized handling for healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and dangerous goods, as well as end-to-end logistics and supply chain consulting services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Hunting: Identify and prospect new B2B customers using your personal portfolio and market knowledge within the Ocean Freight segment.
  • Commercial Engineering: Manage complex tender processes and conduct "buy vs. sell" pricing simulations to ensure competitive yet profitable margins.
  • Solution Design: Develop and present tailored logistics suggestions, including route optimization and multimodal integration for international clients.
  • Trade Compliance: Oversee the export/import document flow to ensure all international shipping regulations are met without operational delays.
  • Stakeholder Bridging: Use professional English fluency to coordinate between local operations, regional stakeholders, and clients.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Direct Selling, Business Development, and Account Management within logistics or ocean freight under a B2B model.
  • Currently at Supervisor or Assistant Manager level.
  • Deep understanding of trade lanes, ocean freight, sea freight operations, warehousing, and end-to-end supply chain solutions.
  • Skilled in tender management, pricing simulations, and targeting large clients.
  • Expert knowledge of export/import regulations and trade compliance.
  • Fluent in English for business communication, including meetings and negotiations.
  • Goal-oriented, persuasive, proactive, independent, with strong relationship management, presentation, and professional communication skills.
