Duties And Responsibilities
Skylla Engineering is seeking qualified Warehouse Specialists to support PM AAA Warehouse Support Services operations. The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, tracking, inventorying, and shipping Government-owned equipment, repair parts, technical publications, and associated assets supporting Marine Corps readiness.
This position requires hands-on warehouse experience, strong inventory management skills, familiarity with Marine Corps logistics systems, and discipline in property accountability requirements.
- Receive, inspect, process, and document incoming equipment, supplies, repair parts, publications, and associated assets.
- Perform shipping, receiving, storage, stowage, issue, and material handling operations.
- Maintain inventory records and accountability documentation in support of Government property requirements.
- Process material transactions, update inventory locations, and support issue documentation.
- Conduct cyclic, annual, and wall-to-wall inventories as directed.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and support corrective actions.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Prepare equipment and materials for shipment and transportation.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, safety standards, and audit-ready records.
- Assist with equipment redistribution, fielding, disposition, surge operations, and readiness initiatives.
- Working knowledge of GCSS-MC (Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps) for logistics management, inventory management, receipt processing, issue documentation, supply transactions, and logistics support activities.
- Current Forklift Operator License/Certification.
- Valid, unrestricted U.S. Driver License.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials and equipment as required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum two (2) years of warehouse, supply, logistics, inventory management, or Government property accountability experience.
- Experience supporting Department of Defense logistics or warehouse operations.
- Experience maintaining inventory records and conducting inventory reconciliations.
- Experience supporting PM AAA, MCSC, PEO LS, or Marine Corps logistics programs.
- Familiarity with Government Furnished Property (GFP) accountability requirements.
- Knowledge of NSNs, TAMCNs, and Marine Corps supply processes.
- Experience conducting large-scale warehouse inventories.
- Experience supporting equipment fielding, modernization, lifecycle sustainment, redistribution, or disposition activities.
