About The Role

As an Assistant Manager – Project Logistics, you will be responsible for managing logistics-related activities for new projects and engineering changes, ensuring seamless coordination across cross-functional teams and successful project execution from initiation through SOP and handover to serial production.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead logistics activities for new projects and change management initiatives.
• Coordinate with customers, production, PPC, purchasing, and warehouse teams.
• Develop and implement logistics concepts, packaging solutions, and transportation strategies.
• Manage supplier logistics readiness, packaging validation, and forecasting activities.
• Coordinate ERP setup, M-BOM deployment, and logistics parameter configuration.
• Ensure successful production launches and smooth project handover to serial logistics.
• Drive zero obsolescence during project launches and engineering changes.
• Validate supply chain readiness, including freight and customs requirements.
• Monitor project milestones and ensure on-time execution of logistics deliverables.
• Lead project logistics activities until successful handover to the serial production team.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10-12 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Project Management.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Supply Chain Management

• Material Resource Planning (MRP)
• Supplier Scheduling
• Customer Relationship Management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional and global teams.
