Transport Operator Nights

Here at XPO, we take our people seriously. We’re looking for a talented Nights Transport Coordinator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis on our night shift, working Monday to Friday, This is for our XPO shared user network based at the Regional Hub in Leigh.

Pay, Benefits And More

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £36,000 including shift allowance. We offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

• Co-ordinate the transport operations on & off site to meet both customer and XPO business expectations
• Work as part of the XPO night shift team to achieve all operational targets
• Plan the cost-efficient delivery and collection of our customers freight ensuring excellent service levels at all times.
• Ensure that all drivers are compliant transport legislation/working time directive regulations and that any accidents/incidents are reported and investigated in a timely manner

• A good understating of fast-paced transport teams
• Excellent communication skills – you’ll be speaking regularly with various stakeholders
• Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook
