TAE WA Freight Coordinator

- Full time role
- Role will include shifts for both AM & PM coverage (Flexible rostering - Generally based around a month of each)
- Conducting safety checks on all Ground Support Equipment (GSE) prior to duties.
- Transmitting freight manifested information accurately and promptly.
- Recording and filing all relevant documents.
- Aiding clients in a professional manner.
- Developing harmonious relationships with staff and industry members.
- Completing Dangerous Goods Acceptance, Load Restraint and Security training and remaining compliant.
- Ensuring correct cargo dispatch to flights as per the relevant Airline system, Freight Manifest and Barrows Tag. All required documents, manifest and NOTOC accompany cargo and the correct barrows/ containers are presented to the relevant Airline.
- Undertaking other duties as directed.
- Following health and safety requirements and reporting hazards.
- Acting responsibly for self and others' safety.
- Participating in health and safety improvement activities.
- Wearing designated personal protective equipment.
- Complying with the TGE Code of Practice and organization's policies.
- Participating in service quality and workplace improvement activities.
- Maintaining confidentiality of organizational information.
- Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role.
- Understanding of aircraft loading and safety procedures.
- Operational knowledge of CASA regulatory rules.
- Competent computer skills, including MS Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic approach.
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
- Current Driver's License.
- ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card - Can be obtained internally).
- Forklift License.
