Are you a proactive, safety-savvy ex-mariner with a knack for risk management? We are seeking a dynamic Loss Prevention Executive to drive excellence in risk management and claims reduction across our geo-sector and specialty areas.


You will leverage your technical, operational and safety expertise to enhance risk selection capabilities, and work closely with our claims and underwriting teams and our shipowner members to help reduce operational risks.


What will you be doing?


Key responsibilities will include:


  • Provide expert advice and support to colleagues and members
  • Advise on condition survey matters
  • Lead impactful projects and deliver engaging training
  • Forge strong relationships and build trust across the business and within the maritime industry
  • Shape and implement strategies to manage and mitigate risks
  • Produce safety articles and presentations for our members


About you

Skills/Qualifications/Experience


Essential

  • An experienced deck officer
  • Comfortable speaking in public
  • Willing to travel
  • Proactive, flexible and able to work autonomously
  • IT literate with good working knowledge of MS Office 365


Desirable

  • Looking for someone who is keen to make their first step ashore or has recently moved to a shore position. Experience in coastal/inland shipping either at sea or in a shoreside capacity desirable but not essential.
