Responsibilities/Duties include but not limited to:
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with the required procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Fill all customer orders with accuracy and in a timely manner.
- Stage daily orders by shipping category/location.
- Ability to read production and product paperwork to ensure specifications.
- Place orders in designated warehouse areas.
- Assemble and build custom pallets or packing crates required per product specifications.
- Ability to read measuring tools.
- Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store products.
- Pack and ship items securely and effectively to minimize damage.
- Ensure that inventory and shipments are secure and well-organized.
- Ability to trouble shoot and think outside the box when shipping issues occur.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task in a busy environment, manage your time and be self-motivated.
- Ability to complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner in a deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with assigned team member(s) and customers.
- Ability to operate hand tools, and warehouse equipment safely.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Forklift experience preferred, but not required.
- Preferred 5 years of warehouse and shipping experience.
- Familiar with ERP software.
