Silver Star Brands | Oshkosh, WI | 1st Shift | 6 or 8 am start! Full time.

WHAT YOU WILL DOYou will be assigned to one of the following areas:

Picking

• Pull totes from the conveyor and review work tickets to locate and identify items


• Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations


• Return loaded totes to the conveyor efficiently and accurately


• Move at a fast pace while maintaining accuracy throughout your entire shift

Quality Assurance

• Remove totes from the inbound conveyor and verify contents against customer work tickets


• Identify and address any errors or exceptions using the appropriate handling procedure


• Pack merchandise carefully with protective materials to ensure orders arrive undamaged


• Apply shipping labels and ensure proper hazmat or liquid labeling when required

Shipping

• Verify order contents against packing slips and scan barcodes to confirm correct items and quantities


• Select appropriate packaging materials for each shipment


• Print and accurately apply shipping labels


• Sort packages by carrier, destination, or shipping method


• Stage outbound shipments in designated areas and ensure all packages are ready for pickup

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions and to read and write in English


• High School Diploma / GED preferred


• Requires extended periods of standing and moving at a fast pace


• Requires physical manipulation of merchandise / materials by walking, bending, grasping, pushing, pulling, and lifting


• Requires ability to lift 5 to 15 pounds regularly throughout the day, with ability to lift heavier weight (up to 50 pounds) periodically


• Must have communication, problem solving, interpersonal, and some computer skills


• Must be available to work during scheduled shifts (mornings or afternoons / evenings)
