- Coordinate the safe transport, delivery and storage of bulk commodities across site operations.
- Ensure deliveries are received in full, on time and in accordance with service level agreements.
- Reconcile metal production from Smelters and report on movements to destination at Refinery or Port of Townsville.
- Act as the primary point of contact for rail and road transport providers, suppliers and internal customers.
- Monitor and track weekly, monthly and annual logistics and inventory management plans.
- Manage logistics contractors and ensure compliance with legislative requirements and company policies.
You Will Bring:
- Proven experience managing rail, road and/or sea freight logistics operations.
- Demonstrated planning, scheduling and inventory management experience.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, contractors and operations teams.
- Excellent computer literacy and record-keeping capabilities. (MS Excel and SAP)
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to identify and implement practical solutions.
