Working closely with Supervisors, Storepersons and key operational stakeholders, you will coordinate receipting, inventory management, picking, dispatch and customer service activities while maintaining accurate warehouse records and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will lead by example, provide technical guidance to team members and ensure warehouse operations continue to support production and maintenance requirements across the Mount Isa Mines operation.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.
- Allocate work and priorities across the warehouse team to meet operational demands.
- Support and mentor Storepersons through coaching, training and day-to-day guidance.
- Monitor warehouse workflow, identify bottlenecks and implement practical improvements.
- Ensure receipting, picking, issuing, dispatch and inventory transactions are completed accurately in SAP.
- Maintain high standards of inventory accuracy through cycle counting, stocktakes and routine inventory reviews.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to operations, maintenance and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor warehouse housekeeping, storage standards and compliance with site procedures.
- Assist with contractor coordination, freight management and logistics activities.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and work with stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Support shutdown planning and critical operational material requirements.
- Promote and maintain safe work practices while contributing to a positive team culture.

You Will Bring
- Demonstrated experience within warehousing, logistics or supply chain operations.
- Experience coordinating daily operational activities or leading small teams.
- Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on inventory accuracy.
- Ability to prioritise competing workloads and respond to changing operational requirements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality customer service.
- Current driver's licence (essential).
