Responsibilities
Document Management: Prepare, check and control shipping papers like invoices and certificates of origin for import and export.
Customs Compliance: Make sure all customs rules and regulations are followed.
Logistics Coordination: Make sure international logistics processes follow local rules, tax requirements, and company policies. Provide correct documents to support accounting and tax departments.
Tariff Classification: Classify goods correctly to know taxes and avoid penalties.
Cost Optimization: Find ways to reduce transport and warehouse costs.
Inventory Control: Monitor stock of raw materials and finished goods, including goods in customs transit.
Stock Accuracy: Do physical checks and system checks of imported goods.
Reports: Make reports about release times and inventory accuracy
- Required Skills/Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of import and export rules.
- Ability to prepare and check shipping papers (invoices, certificates of origin).
- Good understanding of customs rules and taxes.
- Skill to organize transport and follow shipments from start to end.
- Ability to classify goods for correct tax payment.
- Basic knowledge of cost control in transport and warehouse.
- Experience with inventory control of raw materials and finished goods.
- Ability to check stock accuracy with physical counts and system records.
- Skill to make simple reports about inventory and delivery times.
- Required Education and Experience:
- College degree required (logistics, business, international trade or similar).
- 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, transport or customs work.
- Experience with import and export processes.
- Knowledge of inventory control and stock checks.
- Ability to prepare and check shipping papers (invoices, certificates of origin).
- Experience making simple reports about inventory and deliveries.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Physical Requirements:
- Able to sit or stand for long periods.
- Able to walk inside warehouse and office areas.
- Lift and move boxes up to 20–25 kg when needed.
- Use hands to prepare documents and handle goods.
- Able to communicate clearly with team and agents.
- Work in warehouse environment with noise, dust, and changing temperatures.
