Trainee - Transportation Logistics Specialist

The Transportation Logistics Specialist also must report key operating results as required to management. Key Performance Indicators include: Cycle Time, Quality, Compliance, and Cost.
Temporary contract.
Principal Accountabilities
- Monitoring and controlling the cycle time of inbound and outbound shipments through and from the EMEA Region:
- Goods transit monitoring, planning & execution from the moment of pre-alert
- Daily reporting: AWB, DHL
- Lead bi-weekly calls with DC
- Support with export documentation and instruction for return and scraps
- Monthly KPI reporting (PD, Cycle Time , Damages, etc)
- RD & Matrix
- Provide enhanced support to internal stakeholders in order to deliver high quality service to the final customers:
- Follow up on sales requests (shipment status, DNs, Invoices, POD, timely shipping out etc) within set target / 1 h
- AHLR validation within set target / 1 h
- Flag & Deflag items in CLS / DRP as per Sales requests
- Arrange UR AHLRs (self PU, DHL under customer’s account, arrangement of dedicated truck)
- Customer validation / CMUI
- Responsible for quality control and management of shipments in transit (Customer Returns, damage prevention, and reporting):
- Arrange Returns with the most competitive conditions
- Investigate and report on issues (damages, mislabeling, misrouting, delays, etc)
- Route cause analysis & corrective actions follow up on problematic cases
- Monitor & Control & Report Related Transportation Cost:
- Invoice Validation
- Cost Package & Accruals
- Develop and maintain SOP and work instructions in order to enhance performance:
- Proactive continues improvement initiatives
- Contributing to new projects
- Efficient collaboration with Internal and external stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in SCM, Business Administration or similar
- Ideally: 1-2 years of experience in Logistics
- Extensive knowledge of excel, office suite…
- English business proficiency
