Job Title: Shipping and Loading Lead

Division: Off-Site Manufacturing (OSM) Reports To: OSM Production Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

The Shipping and Loading Lead is responsible for leading employees in the shipping and loading area while working alongside the crew. This position is responsible for meeting daily shipping and loading goals, safely preparing completed OSM products for transportation, following established quality procedures, and ensuring loads are properly prepared and secured for shipment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and work alongside employees in the shipping and loading area.
  • Assign daily work and organize employees to meet shipping and loading requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Logistics Coordinator regarding scheduled shipments and delivery requirements.
  • Verify completed products are ready for shipment.
  • Verify quantities and identification of products before loading.
  • Load OSM modules, frames, cable trays, and other products safely and efficiently.
  • Properly position, protect, and secure products for transportation.
  • Safely operate forklifts, cranes, and other material-handling equipment when trained and authorized.
  • Monitor loading progress and ensure scheduled shipments are completed on time.
  • Follow established quality procedures and correct problems when identified.
  • Train and assist employees with proper loading and material-handling procedures.
  • Communicate loading issues, damaged materials, missing products, or delays to the Production Manager.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe loading area.
  • Follow all EZARC safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Previous shipping, loading, manufacturing, or construction experience preferred.
  • Experience operating forklifts, cranes, or other material-handling equipment preferred.
  • Ability to follow loading instructions and established procedures.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead employees while working hands-on.
  • Dependable and detail-oriented.
  • Must follow EZARC safety and quality procedures.
