Freightech Inc., a growing trucking company based in Romeoville, IL, is looking for an experienced After Hours Dispatcher / Night Shift Dispatcher to join our team. This position plays an important role in supporting drivers, monitoring loads, and ensuring smooth overnight operations.

Responsibilities

Monitor and track shipments and driver locations

Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams

Handle delays, breakdowns, and unexpected issues quickly and professionally

Provide after-hours support to drivers

Update dispatch and tracking systems accurately

Maintain organized records and documentation

Help ensure compliance with transportation and safety requirements

Requirements

Previous dispatch experience in the U.S. trucking market — required

Strong English communication skills

Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities

Familiarity with dispatch and tracking software

Ability to work independently during overnight hours

Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented

Professional attitude and strong teamwork skills
