We are currently recruiting for an experienced Dispatch Operative to join a leading international Jewellery Manufacturing company based in Poland.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a fast-paced manufacturing and logistics operation, ensuring the efficient dispatch of high-value jewellery products to customers worldwide. The successful candidate will have previous experience in dispatch, shipping, and import/export documentation, with a good understanding of international customs regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispatch domestic and international customer orders accurately and on time.
- Produce and process shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
- Ensure all import and export documentation complies with international customs regulations and company procedures.
- Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, courier companies, and customs brokers.
- Monitor shipments and resolve any delivery or customs-related issues.
- Verify products, quantities, and shipping information before dispatch.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and update ERP or warehouse management systems.
- Liaise with production, sales, and customer service teams to ensure orders are shipped within agreed deadlines.
- Assist with stock control, inventory accuracy, and warehouse organisation.
- Ensure all dispatch activities comply with company Health & Safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Dispatch, Shipping, Logistics, or Warehouse role.
- Experience handling import and export documentation.
- Good knowledge of international customs regulations and shipping procedures.
- Experience working with freight forwarders and international courier services.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP/WMS systems.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
- English language skills are essential; additional European languages would be advantageous.
