Once you are fully onboarded, you will have the independence to take ownership of your day-to-day work.

As a Ship Agency Operator, you will work both in the office and at the ports of Gdansk and Gdynia, supporting vessel operations. No two days are the same.

Your daily responsibilities

• Coordinate vessel operations in line with shipowners' requirements and company procedures

• Handle vessels in port and support crews during port calls

• Cooperate with customers, terminals, port authorities, and Wilhelmsen teams in Poland and abroad

• Ensure the smooth and timely execution of vessel operations

• Monitor operational costs and maintain accurate documentation

• Work with operational systems and report on completed activities

• Respond to unexpected situations and find practical solutions
  

What will help you succeed in this role:

• Experience in a shipping agency or vessel operations is preferred

• Good understanding of the port environment

• Category B driving license

• Good command of English (minimum B2)

• Ability to work independently and perform well under time pressure

• Responsibility and ownership of assigned tasks

• Ability to build and maintain good working relationships

• Knowledge of port and customs procedures will be an advantage
